The UP Steamer #844 traveled thru western Iowa last summer and I discovered these pictures, taken during a service stop in Denison, Iowa while I was cleaning out some old data this week.

Welcome to the HO scale Boyer Valley Central.
Welcome to the BV Central Railroad
You have stumbled upon the humble little research effort of the Boyer Valley Central Railroad. Unlike the Union Pacific or the Canadian National, the Boyer Valley Central only exists in 1:87 scale.
That's right, it is a HO scale model railroad, loosely based on the UP (former CNW) and the CN (former ICG) lines running through the Boyer River Valley of western Iowa. Much modelers license will of course be used and I'm not above an occasional era bash or other creative mashup of modeling elements.
Check back often for pictures, videos, and any other interesting resources I can find. Be sure to comment if you find something interesting or useful here, I'd love to know.
